Terms and Conditions  


By entering an order with Art of Rain, you agree to the following terms and conditions.



Full payment is required prior to fabrication. Once payment is received, orders may not be canceled in part or entirely. Once manufacturing has started, orders cannot be altered. Each order is custom made one at a time to customer specifications, no returns on any custom or standard items. 
Advertised prices do not include credit card processing fees. Customer is offered alternative payment methods to avoid these processing fees via check/moneywire/paypalgifting etc. This is done so that our prices remain low as advetised. Many businesses hide or fix processing fees into their prices without giving you an option to save $200-$500. All Washington state residents are subject to pay sales tax. 


Lead Time

Lead time begins after full payment is received. Due to the nature of these handcrafted products, completion dates and lead times are non-binding estimates only and are subject to change. We will not be held responsible for any delays your projects incurs at any time. Our timing is clearly communicated and if there is a change, we will notify you in writing as much as possible. 


Copper Finishes 

Due to the fact that this product is crafted by hand, small blemishes and marks from assembly process may be evident. These are not defects but normal part of items character and finish. Customer is aware that all copper items have a living finish that is by nature variable in color and pattern and is never repeated the same way twice(but Art of Rain team will make all possible efforts to closely match the patina as requested on invoice). Customer agrees to confirm the item with provided pictures of finished product prior to shipping. Customer agrees to wear gloves when handling the copper items. Art of Rain is not responsible for any fingerprints, smudges, scratches or dents that occur during installation. Custom copper patina samples are subject to flat fee of $45/sample. 



Customer agrees to inspect package and its contents in time of arrival prior to signing of POD(Proof Of Delivery) receipt from freight carrier(Philip head drill needed to open crate). If visual damage is present upon inspection, report damages to delivery driver and POD to refuse the item into carriers possession(this must be done for carrier to accept the responsibility of damages done during transit). Once the POD is signed by consignee, freight carrier and Art of rain will not be liable for any concealed damage. Crate and packaging must not be removed with items for claim inspection if concealed damage is present and must be reported to Art of Rain within 48 hours. Standard shipping is set to residential address with notification prior to arrival, liftgate and curbside delivery only. Special requests for inside delivery, rush shipping or limited access sites are subject to higher shipping rates. Dry run deliveries(no freight tendered) are subject to fees per freight carrier tariff rules.

Limited Warranty

One year manufacturers warranty covers only normal use against manufacturing defects. Warranty does not cover damage caused from mishandling, improper installation and shipping. Warranty does not apply to patina finishes.
